Fitter Machinist And Metal Fabrication Engineering Apprenticeships

The Opportunity:

Start your apprenticeship in either Mechanical Engineering (Fitter Machinist) or Fabrication with a leading Australian equipment manufacturer supplying both the domestic and overseas markets. 
  
Located in Shepparton, VIC

Duties may include:

• Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
• Cutting, rolling, shaping, heating, or hammering metal products to produce parts.
• Using hand and machine tools, welding equipment, plasma cutters.
• Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures.
• Using manual lathes, CNC lathes and mills

About You:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Completion of Year 10 High School
• Willing to undertake police check and pre employment medical if required
