As the Fixed Operations Manager, you will oversee the efficient and profitable operation of our service, parts, and body shop departments.
Reporting to the Site General Managers and Dealer Principals, you will exceed customer expectations while maximizing departmental productivity across four dealerships: Bayford Ford Bundoora, Bayford Ford Epping, Bayford Ford Coburg, and Bayford Volkswagen Epping.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Hire, train, and motivate service and parts managers. Foster a positive work environment and teamwork.
Financial Management: Prepare and manage annual budgets. Develop pricing plans to improve profitability.
Performance Monitoring: Analyze departmental performance and implement improvements. Ensure high-quality service and minimize comebacks.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and warranty procedures.
Customer Relations: Maintain strong customer relationships, handle complaints promptly, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Strategic Planning: Set goals for Parts and Service Departments and develop marketing initiatives to drive growth and retention.
Reporting: Maintain required reporting systems and serve as a liaison with factory representatives.
Employee Development: Foster employee development and coordinate advanced training needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of ten years in a Dealership Management role with strong mechanical knowledge.
Strong financial and budget management skills.
Effective leadership and mentoring skills.
Strong decision-making skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
