Our client, a leading funds management group, specialises in the management of credit products. With over 15 years of experience operating in the Melbourne funds market, they differentiate themselves through a compelling ownership structure and philosophical alignment, genuinely focused on the investor. Due to the group's continued expansion a new role has become available for an Investment Operations Manager on a Fixed Term Contract basis.THE ROLE
- The overall functionality of the team is to cover all task relating to trade settlements, corporate actions, post trade compliance, instructions to custodians, input and reconciliation of data and the transition of new clients and custodians.
- Work to deliver key project work and identify opportunities for process improvement across the Investment Operations function.
- Review and management of the custodian functionalities and key account holder relationships related to Investment Operations.
- Working closely with the Head of Operations & Chief Executive, assist with the development of a framework to ensure separation of duties and clearly defined responsibilities.
Candidates need to be able to demonstrate significant tenure working in a broad Investment Operations capacity at a fund management business. A willingness to be hands on as well as strategic is essential in this busy and changing role. A proactive attitude towards engagement with key internal stakeholders and external service providers is essential.
