We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Allocator to join our busy team.
This position is based in Fremantle - WA and you will be working in the transport team reporting to the Transport Manager. The primary objective of the Fleet Allocator is to be responsible for the allocation and scheduling of all fleet, ensuring strict delivery deadlines are adhered to.
Some of your position responsibilities will be to:
- Prioritise fleet workloads
- Ensure the fleet operates efficiently at all times to minimise costs and time lost
- Maintain service levels to clients
- Ensure clients are kept informed of any delays
To be considered for this role you are required to have:
- Prior experience with managing a fleet of trucks for container deliveries
- Experience with container movements, collections from the wharf and delivery to client
- Sound computer skills. Experience in Maximas and Container Chain not essential, but desirable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Due to the location of the office acar and drivers licence is necessary
