Fleet Controller / Transport Allocator - Local Transport Operations

Calling all Operations Administrators, Transport Administrators and Logistics Officers, are you looking for the next step in your career or are you a seasoned operator looking for a change?

Join our vibrant operations team located within our WA site in Forrestfield. You’ll play a crucial role in helping to effectively plan and facilitate daily scheduling, allocations and enhancing our operational efficiency.

The role:

• Ensure the effective utilisation and scheduling of local fleet.
• Supporting the warehouse operations to ensure efficient and timely loading of local freight.
• Schedule daily manifests.
• Book wharf / container park timeslots.
• Manage manifesting and invoice requirements.
• Runsheet processing.
• Build strong relationships with all stakeholders, operating with respect and integrity.
• Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
• 7am start / Monday – Friday.

What you will bring:

• Former experience in the transport industry - desirable.
• Good understanding of the Perth Metropolitan area.
• An excellent work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and take instruction.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• A positive and friendly attitude.
• Sound computer literacy.
• Understanding of Work Health & Safety and Compliance, including COR.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
