Our core business facilitates the hiring, selling, servicing, and transporting of elevated work platforms including scissors, boom lifts, telehandlers and forklifts to the Construction, Material Handling and Mining sectors.

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a unique individual to join our high performing hire room as a Hire Coordinator/Fleet Allocator.
This is a highly energetic role, ideal for that individual who is an OCD multitasker, a person who can think on their feet, coming up with split second solutions for machine allocations for over 50 different model groups. Your ability to juggle a lot of things happening all at once will see you taking ownership of the role and thriving in our dynamic environment.
Working Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm, this is an office based role at our Canning Vale head office.
Your usual tasks will include
- Daily yard checks to confirm status of available units and cross checking against planned bookings
- Utilise priority screen to ensure service team are aware of upcoming planned units, utilising knowledge of in demand items to be prepared for incoming orders.
- Ensure any site specific paperwork is completed and available for customers along with completed MOB sheets
- Checking stock and allocating to the system for transport to arrange delivery.
- Liaising with other hire companies both internal and external to ensure availability of requested machinery
- Liaising with transport department regarding upcoming bookings to ensure timely re-distribution of returning machines.
- Loading/Unloading customers for self pick-ups confirming the delivery and collection journey with photos on the mobile app.
- The timely processing of Hire contracts
- Transport allocation
- Machine allocation
- Creating purchase orders
- Processing off hires/invoicing
- General Account queries
- Converting sales and driving revenue for the Hire Room
- Supporting the Sales Team by providing customer service and support
- Thinking outside the square to come up with split second solutions to problems, exceeding our customer expectations.
The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have:
- Previous experience, ideally 2+ years, in a similar position with a successful track record for achieving results through influence.
- Experience within the Hire Industry or another similar industry is required.
- Forklift licence and EWP ticket will be highly regarded.
- Ability to absorb technical knowledge of machines, machinery capabilities and attachments.
- Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and juggle priorities as situations arise.
- The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work.
- Strong motivation to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

- High-level data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Current and valid Driver's License.
