Macmahon has an exciting and newly developed opportunity for a Fleet Management System Manager to join our organisation. The role is responsible for setting clear Fleet Management strategies, plans and goals and to effectively lead the Fleet Management team to achieve the Project production targets and Company strategic and performance objectives.
This role is based at the Perth Office with a significant amount of time to be spent at Macmahon's various mining operations where the action is and most impact can be made.
The role
- Set clear Fleet Management strategies
- Plan and set goals to effectively lead the Fleet Management team to achieve the Project production targets
- Plan and set goals to effectively lead the Fleet Management team to achieve the Company strategic and performance objectives
- Effectively engage with the Fleet Management workforce, other departments and client to create a performance culture that delivers positive project results
- Trade Certificate/Engineering qualification
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership position managing and coordinating teams
- Over 15 years mining experience
- Demonstrated broad knowledge in technical mine engineering including mine planning, scheduling, economic evaluation and management and slope stability, equipment selection and calculation
- Strong reporting capabilities
- Experience in complying with the Statutory Mining and HSEQ requirements
- Experience in setting tasks, resources and schedules to meet work plans
- Experience in the management and administration of budgets in a multinational company
- Honest and fair leadership with a people-oriented outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certificate of Competency for Middle Operational Supervisor of OHS and Mine Environment from DMIRS (desirable)
