About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of our fleet maintenance operations. As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for the overall well-being of our vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and operating at peak efficiency.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising mechanics and cleaners, ensuring timely completion of all maintenance tasks.
- Acting as a liaison between managers, drivers, and repair shops, effectively communicating vehicle repairs and maintenance needs.
- Managing parts inventory, ordering necessary supplies, and maintaining cost-effective practices.
- Keeping the fleet management system up-to-date with accurate and detailed vehicle information.
- Assigning and prioritizing work orders for mechanics, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Organizing and coordinating with third-party repair services when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- A valid HR or MC driver's license.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including fleet management software (preferred).
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in vehicle maintenance (highly desirable).
- Immediate start.
