Based out of Wingfield, SA, we are on the hunt for an experienced Fleet Manager who wants to be part of an exciting, ever changing and transforming organisation.
Ideally, the successful candidate will aim to harmonise diverse and complex operations to drive staff engagement, deliver operational efficiencies and sustainable profitability, while managing customer relationships to ensure service performance obligations are met.
Great communication skills are key and the successful applicant will coordinate a high level of communication between all parts of the fleet.

What You’ll do
- Manage, lead and coach the Fleet team against agreed performance targets across safety, service, productivity and people
- Comply with the risk management program, including identification of hazards, evaluation of risks and the design and implementation of hazard control
- Implement strategic planning in line with the national operational strategic objectives to facilitate continuous improvement/best practice
- Monitor, ensure and report on operational performance, compliance, and costs
- Deliver Business Efficiency targets against agreed initiatives
- Ensure continuous improvement of financials through the year by developing efficiency initiatives which add to the agreed minimum targets
- Manage allocation of appropriate resources through effective and efficient labour planning to enable achievement of site objectives and targets
- Lead safety culture through the identification and implementation of operational safety practices, initiatives, and preventative actions.
- Positively affect behaviours of others, motivating them to achieve personal satisfaction and high performance through a sense of purpose and spirit of cooperation.
- Develop, coach and mentor Operational leaders to improve overall site leadership levels resulting in improved site performance and cultural scores
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- 5+ years experience in a Senior Fleet role within the logistics industry
- Experience working within a multi faceted organisation
- Proven ability to develop, communicate and implement national strategies including short / medium / long-term execution plans, budget and service delivery models
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Change management experience highly regarded
- Proven background as a leader in safety culture
