At Flinders Private Hospital we realise how hard you've studied to get to this point. Taking the next step in your career is an important milestone. With us you can kick start your employment as an early career nurse or midwife through our comprehensive and individually tailored program. With full time or part time options available (minimum 0.8 FTE), our 12-month program is coupled with an additional Consolidation Year, to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

Opened in 1999, the hospital was Adelaide's first purpose built private hospital on a teaching hospital campus linking it to a major university medical school and an internationally recognised public teaching hospital.
Flinders Private Hospital, is the most modern acute private hospital in Adelaide and is recognised for providing contemporary and innovative care, supported by the latest technology, equipment and facilities.
Flinders Private Hospital is constantly evolving to provide the very best in healthcare and is renowned for its excellence in the provision of medical and nursing care in the key specialties of Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, General Medicine, Gynaecology, Urology and Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery. Co-located with Flinders Medical Centre, the largest public hospital in Adelaide's southern region, enables the growth and strengthening of relationships with our Specialists. Registered Nurse
Registered Nurses at ACHA perform a wide range of activities in pursuit of delivering a high-quality patient experience. Every day is different and may include assessing patients, administering medications, providing wound care and educating patients and their families about health conditions. You will need to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, advocate for your patients and provide support to patients and their families. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
