Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity available for an experienced Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) Customer Service Officer to join our clients team for a 6 month contract based in Perth's Eastern Region.
This opportunity will provide Customer Service and administrative support for the implementation of the FOGO Waste Management rollout, engaging with community in the office, over the phone, at education awareness workshops, pop-ups and events.
Your focus will be on the provision of the following:
- Provide a high level of Customer Service in relation to the FOGO implementation, attending to front counter enquiries, monitoring the dedicated inbox and answering phone calls from the public relating to FOGO.
- Assist with FOGO displays, or Pop ups, at events or shopping centres, actively engaging with the public in relation to FOGO Implementation including assisting with set-up and break-down arrangements.
- Assist with the implementation of community education awareness programs and workshops that drive behaviour change related to waste management in the community.
- Attend as required, relevant meetings, promotions and presentations with and to residents, community groups, government and professional bodies.
- Registering and controlling of inward and outward correspondence in ECM and Pathway including developing templates, generating and distributing customer requests, undertaking ECM searches.
- Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, binding of various documents as required.
- Collate and maintain monthly and ad hoc statistics and basic reports and maintain and create relevant databases as required.
- Previous relevant experience working in a Customer Service/administrative role, preferably within the waste industry or a local government environment.
Well developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and groups to ensure delivery of a high level of Customer Service.
Well developed organisational and administrative skills with the ability to effectively prioritise projects and multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines and achieve outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to undertake basic research tasks.
Ability to work effectively under pressure as a member of a team.
Possession of, or the ability to acquire a satisfactory National Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the last 12 months)
Qualifications
- Intermediate level skills with computer applications, in particular the Microsoft Office suite of products (ie Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) and preferably including experience with Electronic Records Management Systems and specialised technical programs.
- ECM and Pathway software experience will be highly regarded
This role is a 6 month contract, working a minimum of 76 hours per week.
