Customer Service Lead

Our Australian owned insulation client is seeking a talented and motivated Customer Service Lead to join their highly capable team to support them for an ongoing basis role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Location: Jandakot, WA 6164

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

Start: Ideally within 6-8 weeks

Remuneration: $40 - $45 per hour (depending on experience)

Duration: Ongoing (may become permanent for the right candidate)

The Role

  • Managing and leading a small team of two Customer Service representatives, providing training, and coaching to ensure high-quality service.
  • Monitoring team performance, setting Customer Service metrics, and analysing data to inform service improvements.
  • Handling complex customer inquiries or complaints that have been escalated.
  • Developing and implementing Customer Service policies with the GM of Strategy and Growth and procedures to standardize and improve service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the operations and finance departments to resolve customer issues and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Ensuring Customer Service team has the necessary tools, resources, and information to effectively assist customers.
  • Providing regular feedback to team members, conducting performance evaluations, and managing team schedules.
  • Identifying training needs and opportunities for skill development within the Customer Service team.
  • Keeping abreast of new product launches, company policies, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Facilitating communication and fostering a positive work environment to maintain high employee morale and motivation.
  • Acting as a customer advocate by providing feedback to the company on customer needs and experiences.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to fully utilise Microsoft Office software packages
  • Experience working in a fast environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask
  • Experience in management
