About Ima Asa Yoru:
Ima Asa Yoru is a community driven Japanese restaurant situated in the Nightingale village in Brunswick. Having relocated from Carlton we reopened last year, serving traditional Japanese breakfast during the day, and transforming to a modern izakaya by night.
As a business we believe strongly in sustainable practice, looking to minimise waste and our carbon footprint on the environment whilst raising awareness about such issues to the public.
About the Opportunity:
We are currently on the look-out for an experienced FOH Manger / Bar Manager. If you have experience in day-to-day venue/shift management and you are looking for your next challenge, we would love to speak to you! Main Role Responsibilities:
Deliver a high standard of experience for both guests and staff
Ensure a high standard of service and restaurant operations
Execute admin responsibilities such as the rostering staff members
Assist with achieving business targets
Experience, Skills & Attributes:
Restaurant management/supervisory experience
Leadership Skills with a focus on staff development
High level of service skills and guest focus
Sound understanding of management practices
Adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
Ability to build effective relationships
Organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and presentation
