Purpose

As Food & Beverage Manager, reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams across our One Hatted Award winning restaurant Grain of the Silos, Grain Cafe, Woody's Bar and our busy Conference and Events Department.

As a key leader in the hotels executive leadership team you will be integral in setting the overall strategy for the hotel and share a passion for excellence in guest service, leadership and connection to community.

Primary Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the efficient operation of the entire Food & Beverage operation across our One Hatted Restaurant, Café, Cocktail Bar & Meetings and Events Team
• You will utilise all your people skills to motivate and manage your team of supervisors and managers, work collaboratively with other departments, and deliver an outstanding dining experience to our guests
• We have a large team, so your passion for people, their development, training, and delivery of efficient, guests focused service will be paramount

Skills and Experience

• Prior experience as either a Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
• Robust leadership skills to engage, inspire, and cultivate your team, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
• Proven track record in managing budgets, overseeing inventory, and creating staff schedules
• Effective communicator with adept skills in stakeholder management, both internally and externally
• Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situations
• Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
