We are seeking a highly motivated & experienced Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our team on a full-time basis, working 38 hours per week based in Macquarie Park, NSW. This role provides an opportunity to contribute significantly to our organisation’s ongoing success, supporting business growth and development.
About the Role
As the FP&A Analyst, you will play a central role in overseeing the financial activities of the company, including budget consolidation & forecasting to ensure precision and compliance. Furthermore, you will offer strategic support for process improvement, fortifying internal controls to shape the company’s financial strategy and performance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Day to day tasks will vary, however you will be primarily responsible for the following tasks which include but is not limited to:
- Manage both Australia & Singapore’s FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) function, preparing financial statements for strategic planning, annual budgets, and forecasts, guiding the company towards sustainable growth
- Generate daily sales report to track sales performance and trends by customer and by product
- Work with management to perform a monthly sales forecast and analysis tracking rolling forecast variance
- Facilitating month-end FCCS process/reporting, and PBCS reporting
- Preparing monthly sales presentation and quarterly financial and business review presentations for senior management to support informed decision making
- Preparing an obsolescence analysis of products based on stock, expiration date, and forecast.
- Performing Balance sheet reconciliation for asset and inventory related accounts.
- Supporting OPEX analysis and OPEX budgeting
- Assisting interim and year-end external audit process
- Providing support for transfer pricing analysis and group segment reporting
- Support income tax return
- Continuously seek and monitor opportunities for process improvement.
Skills & Experience – Who we’re looking for:
For this position, it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
- Minimum Bachelor level degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a comparable role
- Demonstrated experience working across the P&L (revenue and cost), balance sheet and cashflow statement
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- High level of commercial acumen and ability to assess situations
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, financial reporting, management reporting
- Ability to advise, support and challenge senior stakeholders on various financial aspects
- Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels within the organisation
- Highly motivated, committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests
