We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and elevate our culinary offerings to match the excellence of our tennis facilities.
Position Overview:
As the Food and Beverage Manager at Domain Tennis Centre, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our Food and Beverage operations. You will be responsible for managing a team, planning and executing functions and events, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our café, and most importantly, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of Food and Beverage staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute functions and events hosted at the Domain Tennis Centre, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our café, including inventory management, ordering, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience, including menu development, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to customer service and facility management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably within a sports or recreational facility.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for Food and Beverage service, with a creative approach to menu development and customer engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
