We provide a culinary experience that revolves around a single, meticulously crafted tasting menu, complemented by the option to indulge in perfectly matched wines or homemade non-alcoholic beverages. The carefully curated menu and drink list show cases an exclusive selection of premium, all Australian natural wines and spirits.
We are seeking a full time Restaurant Manager with experience to join our team. You will have a bright and friendly personality, with a can-do attitude, willing to provide that little bit extra to welcome diners for evening service from Wednesday to Sunday, as well as offering a delightful lunch service on those same days. Salary based on experience.
This role involved the provision of Food and Beverage Restaurant Management services, you will hold a pivotal decision-making role in overseeing the daily Food and Beverage operations and culinary journey for customers at our establishment.
Description of Position:- Meet up with the wine representatives to taste and consider new wines to update our wine menu.
- Train and supervise front of house staff.
- Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives.
- Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment.
- Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary.
- Overseeing operations, handling customer complaints, and generating financial reports.
- Order and maintain inventory.
- Advising and recommending wines/drinks to patrons according to their personal taste by provide information on wine characteristics, wine production and types of wine.
- Prepare and serve wine using wine service techniques.
Practice responsible alcohol service. Provide excellent customer service.
To be successful, candidates will have the following attributes:- be presentable
- be available to work weekends with rotating weekends off
- have a good hands-on approach
- have great wine knowledge
- hold a valid RSA certificate and hold Sommelier experience
- have been in a similar role for at least 2 years.
