AddressWe are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor for this busy property located in the spectacular Kimberley Region of remote Western Australia.This a 100% hands on role and the successful candidate must be willing to be hands on in all areas. You will bring your excellent supervisory and mentoring skills to the role and must be willing to work across multiple departments and venues.Offering accommodation, caravan park, restaurant, function room, bistro and tour operations. This is a very busy property, catering to corporate contractors and tourism.
As the role is based in the amazing Kimberley Region, there are spectacular sights to visit on your days off, such as gorges, canyons and caves. Learn new skills, see amazing locations and also be exposed to a fascinating culture with many significant cultural sites to visit.
Long Term Commitment required – not suitable for working visa holders
Immediate Start
Package:
- $70,000 per annum
- Discounted accommodation & meals
- Own room
- 3 Meals per day
Duties:
- 100% hands on role including hands on food & beverage service, opening and closing of bars, restaurant etc
- Staff recruitment, supervision & training
- Mentoring Food & Beverage Staff
- Balancing tills and night safe
- Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the property
- Assisting with Functions & Special Events
- Guest arrivals & departures after reception hours
- Offering excellence in customer service
- Other duties as required
Candidates Requirements:
- WA Approved Managers licence or be able to obtain prior to commencement
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to live and work in remote locations
- Knowledge of CMS-Guest Centrix or similar programme
- Able to work as part of a team
- Access via sealed roads or bus
- Telstra Mobile Coverage Available
- Staff Accommodation is located on site with staff laundry facilities
- Staff have full use of onsite swimming pool
