The Victoria Hotel is an iconic hotel with a rich history dating back to 1880, located on Little Collins St in the centre of Melbourne and we are recruiting for an ambitious F & B Supervisor to join our team.
The hotel features 370 hotel rooms, 3 conference spaces including a recently refurbished ballroom hosting up to 200 guests, and a diverse F&B offering including 2 modern private dining rooms located in Mister Munro Restaurant & Bar and the much loved Vic's Bar.
The Victoria Hotel is part of EVT, a proudly Australian-owned company with over 100 years’ experience in hospitality, entertainment and leisure in Australian & New Zealand.
About the role
We are on the lookout for a friendly, passionate and motivated Food & Beverage Restaurant All Rounder to join our team!
As a Food & Beverage Restaurant All Rounder, you are enthusiastic with strong communication and organizational abilities.
As a Food & Beverage Restaurant All Rounder you should pride yourself in supporting a dedicated team in continually improving our operations and guest service levels. Your focus will be to assist in the daily operations of our Restaurant ensuring our guests enjoy their experience when dinning in our Restaurant. This role will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who loves what they do and enjoys going above and beyond for the customers.

Skills and Experience
- The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
- · Exceptional customer service & communication skills
- · A current and up-to-date RSA qualification
- · Professional manner & grooming
- · Adaptable to the fast paced & dynamic hotel industry
- · Flexibility and can work 7 day rotating roster including Public Holidays
- · Coffee making Experience a must.
- · A positive & enthusiastic attitude with the ability to multi task.
- · Experience with POS Systems
- · You have a positive attitude and loads of initiative.
- · You are creative, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- · You're a fast thinker and make decisions on the run!
- · You like working in a fast pace environment with something always to do.
- · You have a passionate work ethic.
