Food & Beverage Attendant

The Macquarie Arms Hotel is Australia's oldest pub, nestled on the banks of the Hawkesbury River and an easy drive or train from Sydney. Affectionately known as 'The Arms', the pub is located in historic Windsor and features friendly country-style service, food, entertainment and events for the whole family.
This is your chance to be part of the team! We are looking for our next Food & Beverage Attendant. This role will see you responsible for overseeing the service of food and beverage to our patrons, complying and promoting safe work and food safety practices, and working with a small team of kitchen and bar staff. The role will commence with 2-3 shifts per week with opportunities for more shifts and career development to the right candidate.

What we are looking for
The successful applicant will:

• Have an excellent understanding of RSA/RCG and its application
• Demonstrate flexibility by being able to work weekends and nights
• Have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Be able to work well in a team environment as a team player
• Have the ability to undertake manual handling including stock movement
• Demonstrate competent money handling skills
• Be responsible, trustworthy and honest
• Be willing to assist, guide and train new staff
• Basic competency of Microsoft Office applications
