Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Barista for our Lobby Café and numerous Food & Beverage Attendants to work in our In-Room Dining, Pacific Club Lounge and Monty’s outlets. We are looking for fun, friendly, positive individuals who are passionate about delivering exemplary service.

The duties of the roles include and are not limited to:
In Room Dining (IRD):
- Answer all IRD calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Prepare the guest dining tray for their order.
- Delivering food to both Hill Street Bar and In-Room guests in a timely manner.
- Collecting finished/dirty trays outside guests’ rooms via tray away system.
- Delivering hotel amenities to guests’ rooms before check-in.
- Delivering minibar and minibar checks.
- Polishing cutlery, glassware, metal cloches (food covers)
- Directing guest enquiries to appropriate departments.
- Operating POS system.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Five-star grooming and presentation.
Pacific Club Lounge (PCL):
- Setting up and maintaining the Executive Lounge during afternoon tea and evening canape & cocktail hours.
- Ensure that all food and drinks are properly served while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure that the Executive Lounge is properly maintained at all times.
- Handle guest feedback and requests.
- Always maintain positive guest relations with guests.
- Knowledge of the daily VIP’s and requests.
- Responsible for the guest experience.
- Provide excellent Food & Beverage services to the guests in accordance with the standards of the hotel.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of products, menus and equipment.
- Run designated areas efficiently and smoothly.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of all food and beverages served.
Monty’s (Breakfast):
- Provide exceptional dining experience for our guests through proper table and buffet set up.
- Consistent maintenance of cleanliness in the venue and workspaces.
- Able to adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Provide genuine and exceptional service.
- Welcome guests and show them to their table.
- Address guest enquiries, concerns and special requests with courtesy and genuine care.
- Responsible for clearing tables.
- Must be able to carry 3 main course plates at once.
- Able to communicate fluently in English
Barista:
- Providing outstanding service to exceed customer expectations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Explaining Food & Beverage options to customers.
- Ensuring Food & Beverage orders are taken and placed in a timely manner.
- Craft delicious coffee drinks.
- Ensuring adherence to all Work Health & Safety standards.
- Possess relevant qualification including RSA and barista certificate.
About You:
- Enthusiastic about customer service and tourism.
- Able to work shifts across all days (morning, evening, and overnight).
- A warm, friendly, professional manner towards all clients and guests.
- Impeccable presentation and grooming standards.
- Exceptional customer service and rapport building skills and the ability to liaise with guests.
- Previous Hotel experience is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of Hotel Property Management Systems (preferably OPERA).
- Possess a Manual “C” Class Australian Drivers License (Full License).
- Possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
