Discover the beauty of winter…at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort!We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager who is driven and passionate about the industry to oversee the daily operations of the two food outlets, bistro and café, at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort this ‘white season.
Our F&B Manager needs to have a sound understanding of what is required to adhere to an operational budget and the planning required to stay within that budget, i.e. the breakdown cost of menu items, optimizing inventory, rosters etc. all whilst delivering an exceptional level of customer service to guests visiting the resort.
The F&B Manager will work collaboratively with the Resort Head of Visitor Experience to create appealing ‘grab n go’ menu items that can be freshly prepared in the commercial kitchen by food and beverage staff. The F&B Manager will oversee the preparation of the kitchen and lead and motivate all F&B staff.
Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is a family orientated snow play park and has the distinction of being the closest alpine snow resort to Melbourne, just a short 2 hours drive from the city centre. During the white season the operation hours are Thursday – Monday (8am - 4pm), except school holidays when the Resort is open 7 days a week.
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?
- Minimum 3 + years’ relevant experience in Hospitality and leading/managing a Food and Beverage team.
- Knowledge of financial statements and good reporting/financial acumen.
- Demonstrated experience with team management, including training and developing, performance management, effective rostering.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Supervisor Food Handling Certificate
- RSA
- Victorian Working with Children (employee).
- A valid driver’s license.
