Food & Beverage Manager
St Kilda Hotel
Join this full service upper scale property located in Melbourne's city fringe. With a focus on providing friendly and knowledgeable service to both corporate and leisure clientele. Featuring 206 guest rooms, a busy buffet breakfast, Restaurant, Café and Beer Garden there is plenty to keep your day varied.
Seeking a driven and experienced Food & Beverage professional with experience in the Hotel sector ready to jump into an F&B Management role.
Role & Requirements
Oversee the operations of all Food and Beverage outlets, including Beer Garden, Restaurant, In Room Dining, Mini Bar, Conference & Events
Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
Recruit, manage, train, and develop the team - currently approximately 15 in the team.
Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Work within budgeted guidelines
Assist in setting departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
Develop menus with other members of Food and Beverage team
Accountable for monthly stock takes
Incentives team members to maximise sales and revenue
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Working closely with the General Manager on forecasting and budgeting.
Skill & Experience
Professional attitude, a foodie, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Previous experience in the hotel industry
Knowledge of financial statements and good reporting/financial acumen
Positive attitude
Available to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
