Grader Group Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and professional Food and Beverage Manager to join our vibrant team. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and optimizing all aspects of food and beverage operations within the establishment, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. Reporting to the Venue Manager, this position carries significant responsibility in shaping the culinary and service experience. Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing strategies to enhance food and beverage offerings, including menu development, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
• Managing food and beverage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Overseeing the recruitment, training, and performance management of food and beverage staff
• Managing financial aspects of food and beverage operations, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
• Coordinating with culinary and service teams to maintain high-quality standards and consistency in food and beverage offerings
• Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Implementing and monitoring operational procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Planning and executing special events, promotions, and catering services as needed
• Analyzing sales data, monitoring trends, and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth
• Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to achieve overall business objectives
Your Skills and attributes:
• A level of skill commensurate with a degree, advanced diploma or diploma, plus 2 years of relevant experience, or alternatively, at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Food and Beverage Manager in the hospitality industry in lieu of any formal qualification(s)
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in food and beverage cost control, menu planning, and inventory management
• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices+
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business targets in a food and beverage environment.
