Brisbane Airport F&B Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations manager to head up our business and manage the successful day to day operations of our 10 busy & fast paced restaurants, bars and QSR’s. 

Airport Retail Enterprises is a well-established and successful business operating premier airport food and beverage concessions across Australia including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Townsville and Mt Isa Airports.

Our venue portfolio includes:

• Graze Bar and Grill 
• Seeds by Bruno Loubet
• Mezze Za Za 
• Coffee Royal
• The Common
• Newfarm Confectionary 
• Newstead Brewery (Brisbane airport) 
• Mica express 
• Corretto Bar and Grill (International Terminal)
• The Independent (Opening soon) 

We currently have 200 + Bar Staff, Chefs, F&B Attendants & Baristas helping to deliver awesome experiences across our very fast-paced venues.

 What we expect from you: 

• A strong background in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations management. Multi-Venue experience essential. 
• Proven ability to recruit, train and mentor staff and commitment to promoting an energetic and professional team.
• Ability to influence workplace culture with excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Strong personal and communication skills able to gain the co-operation of others. 
• An ability to think commercially and make decisions in the best interest of the business. 
• High levels of honesty and integrity as this is role has a high level of autonomy. 
• RSA, RMLV, Approved managers license.
• Strong business acumen with a strong knowledge of COGS, Wages and reporting.
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify & rectify issues before they arise.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to work across a range of complex businesses.
