As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will lead your team to create unforgettable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests.We are looking for someone to cover either our very important breakfast operation, which includes conferencing or someone that can work nights looking after Al Carte.What is in it for you:

- Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Food & Beverage Operations team
- Supervise and delegate duties; Ensure brand standards are maintained
- Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal
- Provide input on greater Food and Beverage strategies. This is a key development role for future Accor leaders, your input is valued, and your personal development is of priority.
- Ensure that strategies are in place to allow for efficient and effective staffing of the department to achieve financial and service quality targets.
- Ensure that Team Members are briefed on all specials and standard menu items.
- Assist in recruitment and induction of new Team Members.
- Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
- Liaise with customers and Chef/kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to.
- Set up and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the restaurant and conference centre to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.
Service focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage
Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by exampleWhat we are looking for:If this role interests you and you can demonstrate that you have:
- A true desire to work with people and create human connections, with proven experience as a F&B Supervisor.
- An ability to ask the right questions and listen intently to gather enough information to solve problems, resolve complaints and create those Heartist Moments
- A professional appearance and demeanour that will represent our brand well
- Have a curious mindset to be able to spot tiny frustrations, seemingly insignificant needs, and the times that service could be even better for our guests
- Conference and/or banqueting experience desirable
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster;
- - Mornings 5.30-6am starts, weekends and public holidays and or/
- - Nights 3pm starts, weekends and public holidays
- Someone who can lead by example, is hands on and can instill a sense of fun in the workplace.
- Hold a valid RSA – essential.
