The Role
Reporting directly to the Discovery Way Manager, the Guest Experience Review Consultant is a key member of the People & Culture team at Discovery Parks. The primary focus of this role will be to focus on physical and virtual assessment of Discovery Parks properties with a “Food Service” offering while ensuring compliance, service and standards are met and continuously enhanced through continuous improvement. The role is also pivotal in ensuring that organisational values are upheld, and the highest standards are maintained in our properties.
You will visit our Hospitality, Workstay, Managed sites and Tourist parks on a regular schedule conducting assessments of Food Safety, along with reviews of; the quality of park amenities, accommodation facilities, public areas, adherence to organisational brand standards, signage, staff presentation and employee knowledge of set policies and processes and stay in business expenditure to drive high standards.
You will undertake various projects and initiatives that ensure Discovery Parks site teams are performing at their best and being given all the tools they need to create stand out experiences for their guests.
A key focus of your role will be to review and define current processes and standards, offer training, coaching and guidance and be a support through any change management initiatives.
Your Experience
To be successful in this role you must possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, initiative and flexibility to be able to meet our growing business demands at Discovery Parks.
  • Food Safety training
  • Ideally having worked in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Valid and current driver's license
  • Strong and proven compliance background with experience in Food Safety
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely, as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience in coaching and delivering feedback
  • Ability to travel extensively within Australia
