Delaware North are now on the look-out for a highly organised Food Safety Manager to join our operations teams across both Marvel Stadium and Melbourne Airport.
Based on site and working closely with the Culinary and Operations teams, the Food Safety Manager will support the catering operation by overseeing the two stadium’s Food Safety management system, and undertaking a range of Food Safety related activities to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality food products that meet legislative and customer requirements across the several kitchens and outlets within the Delaware North operations.
Duties of this role will include:
- Management of the HACCP Food Safety Program, working with the senior management and operations teams to maintain the highest industry standards
- Deliver and oversee Food Safety systems, processes and compliance
- Conduct internal Food Safety Audits, Risk Assessments and inspections
- Provide comprehensive reports including observations and recommendations
- Manage site Food Safety incident investigations and risk management
You will have:
- Expert knowledge of Food Safety legislation, HACCP and quality standards
- Minimum 5 years experience working with a commercial food production / catering company
- Experience in conducting and managing audits and reviews
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Competent in Microsoft applications and experience of using food procurement/management software systems
- Highly motivated and self disciplined with a flexible and adaptable working approach
- Ability to work and communicate with various different stakeholders
