Provides a quality Food Service to patients; assists with quality food production and maintains safe food hygiene in designated working areas.
Fiona Stanley Hospital has an amazing opportunity for Food Service Attendants to join our patient catering team. Successful candidates will provide quality Food Service to patients, assists with quality food production and maintain safe food hygiene in designated working areas.
To be considered for this role you must have proven:
- food handling experience in a large industrial catering operation
- knowledge of food preparation and plating practices and techniques
- effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
- knowledge of cleaning practices and techniques
- ability to work effectively in a team and with minimal supervision.
This is a recruitment pool for permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, fixed term part time and casual appointments.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 09/12/2024.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
