Since the company's inception MNG has been dedicated to providing personalised and innovative spatial solutions to both the Land Development and Engineering & Infrastructure sectors across Australia.

What will you do?

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will provide essential services to the wider MNG team including but not limited to:

• End-to-end preparation and integrity of financial data for Board & SET reports, for finalisation by the CFO.
• Review monthly and annual financial data for month end and adjust accruals where necessary.
• Maintain monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliations for CFO, Financial Controller and external audit review.
• Prepare the Group financial consolidation and Financial Reports for external audit review.
• Assist with supporting information for the Group’s tax returns (Income and FBT returns).
• Maintain the Group asset registers (Accounting and Tax) and Right-to-Use asset registers.
• Preparation of financial data for review and inclusion in Operational Reports, providing variance analysis feedback and supporting greater financial acumen amongst operational management.
• Assist the CFO with ad-hoc related projects.

What you bring to the table

You are a dynamic self-starter with excellent communication skills, a sense of fun and a high attention to detail in all that you do. You will also have:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience preparing or auditing Financial and Statutory reports.
• Qualified or part qualified CPA/CA
• Strong customer service focus and the ability to engage with all levels of the business.
• High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
• A working understanding of Australian Accounting Standards
• Experience with using NetSuite desirable but not essential.
