About us:
Rockhampton Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Queensland and the main referral hub for the region.
Operational Services Officers support clinical staff to deliver the best possible care to patients. From providing nutritious meals, to transporting patients throughout the hospital, to keeping our hospital clean, Operational Services Officers are integral to running an effective and safe hospital.
About the role:
Support the management team in coordinating and supervising approximately 55 staff at the Rockhampton campus overseeing and providing direct support to the Food Services department.
About you:
The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Ability to supervise staff in a large health care facility or similar experience to achieve organisational goals.
- Ability to review and investigate workplace incident reports and hazard identification form.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with all levels of staff, patients and the general public.
- Basic level of computer skills with the ability to improve those skills to a level where you are able to maintain all computerised records and use data bases required to do the position.
Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $89,086 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary between $71,391 - $78,080 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
