AddressThe client is a leading Australian food company who manufacture fresh convenience foods including salads, soups and meal solutions. The Food Technologist will support the NPD team on the development of new products and processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of new products, processes and packaging
- Project management from initiation through to completion
- Running factory trials accurately and to production schedule
- Administration and data recording of all trial information
- Ensure raw materials and products meet customer guidelines
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline
- Previous experience within food manufacturing in product development
- Knowledge of HACCP/GMP
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of Australian Food Legislation, FSANZ, ACCC and other food compliance requirements
- Be able to deal effectively with pressure and day to day challenges
