About the role
Within this role we are looking for an energetic RnD Technologist role, to conduct the day-to-day quality activities within the manufacturing facility and associated documentation. You will be part of a small close-knit team and be able to stand in when a fellow member is away. This position will allow you to liaise with different areas of the business such as suppliers, sales, and manufacturing teams. Provides exposure to the product development systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Verification of quality and compliance to company's strict protocol
- Assisting in troubleshooting and offer support to manufacturing personnel
- Overseeing product non-conformances and any deviations and follow up on related documentation
- Assisting with NPD formulations, sample preparation and documentation to follow.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Motivated, self driven to strive for excellence
- Ability to work autonomous
- Meat Experience
