The Senior Payroll Analyst-SAP is responsible for the set-up of the system for payroll and will conduct periodic reviews, finding and resolving malfunctions and fixing problems.To do this successfully you will:
- Consulting with users to formulate and document business requirements.
- Working with payroll vendor to edit personnel calculation schemas, personnel calculation rules, and features as per business requirement.
- Evaluating wage type characteristics and outputs ensuring compliance with legislation (PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workers’ comp, FBT etc.)
- Working with the vendor on deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting, and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system.
- Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour.
- Defining payroll processes with the HR Process Workbench and creating process models
- Customizing the Interface Tool bench by analysing gaps in the payroll information and build system solutions.
- Periodic review of ADP Blueprint to align with legislative requirements and AIA policy.
- Create & maintain user and training documentation/SOP’s for payroll and conducting formal training sessions with new team members.
- Supporting internal and external audit requests as and when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Successful track record of Australia payrolls with minimum 5 plus full lifecycle SAP HR and/or Payroll implementation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP HR & Payroll reporting, data analysis, processes, and reconciliations
- Experience working with ADP Globalview Managed Services
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and staff
- Experience in leading payroll projects including data migration, system implementations and
- enhancements, and process changes
- Ensure accurate and consistent delivery of payroll services and standards are being met for the entire business.
- Experience working in a complex environment, with the ability to interpret awards and EBA’s
- Current knowledge of Payroll legislation including, Superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Parental Leave and Long Service Leave
