Team Global Express is currently seeking experienced and qualified Forklift Operator to commence immediately on the PM shift at our Braeside depot. This is a Full Time, Permanent Opportunity to join our team and apply your experience by coordinating and loading our general freight for our interstate and regional customers and clients.

- Full Time Permanent positions – Braeside.
- The working hours are Monday-Friday, 13:30 – 21:30.
- Remuneration: 32.50/hr.
- Competitive Superannuation: 15%.

What you’ll do
- Undertake safe and effective loading, unloading, movement, restraint, closing the curtains and storage of freight as required.
- Take additional care with freight to ensure there are no damages.
- Always check load restraint, packaging, and the condition of freight before it travels.
- Report all damages to freight or forklift to your supervisor immediately.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in the transport industry.
- Experience in loading b-doubles trucks.
- Experience in driving the long Tyne forklift advantageous.
- Palletised freight experience preferable.
- A valid Forklift License is essential.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a team within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adhere to WHS and Safety Regulations
- Experience loading and unloading trucks with a sound knowledge of Load Restraints and Dangerous Goods desirable.
- Excellent attitude, a good work ethic and reliability
- Ability to pass pre-checks (medical/background/D&A)
