Frame & Truss Assembler

Geotruss has an exciting opportunity for a Frame & Truss Assembler to join our Frame and Truss production team.
4-day work week – Monday – Thursday
Additional overtime available
Regular ongoing opportunity available

Skills & Attributes

• Basic knowledge and experience in the timber or building industry.
• Previous experience working with frames and trusses desirable (but not essential)
• Previous experience working with hand and power tools
• Attention to detail
• Awareness of workplace health and safety procedures
• Hardworking and able to do manual labour
• Strong work ethic, reliable and punctual
• An ability to work in a team environment.
• A Forklift License would be highly regarded but not mandatory.

Duties

• Cutting and assembling frames and trusses
• Assembly of prefab frames and roof trusses
• Use of various hand and power tools 
• Operating saw and other machinery
• Manual handling
