We are looking for people to join the following Temporary and Casual pools:

TEMPO: Online Skills Development Training ProgramThis program has previously helped many Fraser Coast residents secure employment with the Council in a variety of roles. If you are eager to gain experience across different Council areas, explore various career paths, and enhance your administrative and customer service skills, this is the opportunity for you.

Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking Support Officers to join our TEMPO pool. You will be providing administrative assistance and support to various departments across Council.

Customer Service Officers Pool:Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking Customer Service Officers to join our friendly, helpful team. You will be providing a high level of service, ensuring an excellent customer experience to the residents of and visitors to the Fraser Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to telephone and face to face customer requests for information and support, with a focus on first point of contact resolution.
- Researching and providing timely and accurate information for customers
- Processing payments on behalf of council

Library Assistants Pool:Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking Library Assistants to provide exceptional library services to the community? You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch, customer-focused library services to our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by helping patrons locate resources, answer inquiries, and use library technology.
- Manage library membership records and process new member registrations.
- Assist in the promotion of library services and programs through various communication channels.
- Help maintain a welcoming and safe library environment for all patrons.
- Support the library team with administrative tasks as needed.

What you should have to apply:- Have previous administration and customer service experience.
- have a keen interest in improving your skills to gain employment which involves both administration and customer service tasks.
- have Microsoft Office and typing skills.
- have a positive attitude.
- display a high level of resilience.
- be highly motivated.
- be open and willing to learn.
- be open to working across various departments, in providing administration and customer service support to various teams.
- be willing to have a police check conducted.
- have a current driver's license (or be in the process of obtaining one) or be able to access transport to Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
- be able to provide suitable proof of identity (e.g. driver's license, passport, proof of age card etc.)

All placements are generally Monday to Friday during business hours, Library Assistants may be required to work Saturday.
Order of recruitment stages- Application submitted.
- Online assessment.
- Interviews will be held in person or over teams.
- Successful applicants complete the online training.
- Recruitment checks including reference and police checks.
