To continue our success, we are looking for a Freight, Inventory & Distribution Manager to join our team in Regency Park who will be responsible for the sites finished goods inventory using SAP system, transport network and own fleet management.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety of own fleet drivers and compliance of own fleet vehicles to National Highway Vehicle Regulations
- Lead any safety incident investigation and development of countermeasures to prevent a recurrence.
- Inventory management across both in RP ASRS warehouse and 3rd party external warehouses to ensure SAP information accuracy enabling customer deliveries to be in full quantity and on time.
- Management of 3rd party transport company's performance to ensure on time deliveries.
- Lead the inventory team to ensure all sales requirements are met.
- Lead performance scorecards reviews with business partners and PepsiCo national supply chain teams to achieve PepsiCo's KPIs .
- Coaching, developing and driving performance of team members thru - regular 1:1s, team meetings, PDRs etc.
- Manage relevant Global Control Standards linked to inventory systems and safety system in PepsiCo's EHS programme.
- Deliver annual productivity targets and ensuring annual operating plan budgets are met.
About you:
- Degree qualified in Business / Commerce / Management / Engineering or related discipline (preferable)
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams to achieve targets and deadlines.
- Well-developed PC Skills, including but not limited to MS Office, SAP and Power BI
- Experience in people leadership, change management and team building skills.
- Results driven and customer focussed.
- Knowledge of concepts, application of modern logistics principles, legislative and State based Enterprise Agreements
- Strong commercial / financial acumen.
