Damascus College is seeking applications from a VIT registered Teacher who has demonstrated ability, energy, and commitment to support and engage our students to be their best during their educational journey.
We seek applications for a French Teacher in a part time position with the opportunity to teach replacement classes in a variety of learning areas for those applicants seeking up to Full time employment.
Teachers at Damascus College are expected to uphold the professional standards of the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL), display high levels of competency in their discipline, be committed to support Catholic education and the Damascus College Code of Conduct.

Key Selection Criteria:
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
• Capacity to contribute positively to and lead student engagement in the ethos of Damascus College as a Catholic school in the Mercy tradition;
• Appropriate qualifications, educational experiences and demonstrated understanding and success in implementing data-informed contemporary learning and teaching strategies in relevant specialisation(s);
• Capacity to demonstrate exemplary universal classroom practice, learner engagement and student management competencies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to develop productive and caring relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Demonstrated high-level proficiency in organisational and ICT skills to enact all Learning and Teaching curriculum, assessment and learner administration responsibilities at an expected professional standard
• Commitment to professional development and a willingness to undertake training as required in various settings including collaborative professional practice teams.
