Petersham RSL’s is a boutique Inner West Club within modern surroundings that is supportive of the local Community.
An opportunity for full-time work in hospitality with amazing development opportunities has become available. The role operates Front of House; delivering great customer service standards while delivering the vision and values of our club. When you aren't providing exceptional customer service in our bars, gaming area or on the front desk, you will be providing leadership to our team in as a Relief Duty Manager.
We are looking for someone with drive and passion who is keen to develop their skills in leadership and progress their career. The role will operate across all service areas of our venue (such as bars, reception, gaming, and events) while stepping into leadership when needed to support our Management team.
To be considered for this position you satisfy the following:
- Comprehensive experience in all areas of the Club industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Superior customer service skills
- Possess excellent cash handling skills
- Strong Organisational, Motivational & Conflict Resolution Skills
- Current RSA & RCG (Desirable: Advance RCG)
- Be First Aid qualified
- Ability to communicate professionally with people of all ages
- Be friendly and outgoing
- Be available to work flexible hours across the week, weekends and public holidays
- Hold a Diploma of Hospitality or equivalent
Your responsibilities will be but not be limited to:
- Ensuring the provision of exceptional customer service to our members and their guests
- Management of the day to day operation of the Club
- Ensuring compliance with registered Clubs Act and other relevant legislation
- Leading and coordinating staff in a motivating, efficient and effective manner
- Ensuring the Club’s policies and procedures are adhere to
- Ensure a safe working environment and maintain a high standard of Security
- Liaise with management in developing or suggesting strategies to expand repeat customer base
- Providing up to date information to customers on all Club facilities & promotions
- Maintaining consistent customer service standards
- Personally greeting and assisting gaming patrons with all their club needs
- Provide feedback/ideas re: customer service, promotions
- Perform daily banking tasks
- Be able to work in varies areas throughout the club such as Bar, Gaming and Reception.
Short listed applicants will be required to complete a personality profile "on line" and numeracy and literacy tests. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and provide a copy of their National Criminal History Record Check (NCHRC) from a relevant Australian Police Service.
