Front Office Supervisor – Zetland

Meriton Suites currently has an opportunity available for a Front Office Supervisor at our Zetland property. 

About the Role

As the Front Office Supervisor, you will work to ensure the efficient running of the Hotel’s Front Office including providing seamless service to our guests. You will work in a professional environment which includes a clear career progression pathway as well as the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced leaders.

Your key responsibilities

• Train, mentor, allocate tasks to and supervise Front Office team members to ensure a quality operation.
• Courteously and accurately respond to guest enquiries including anticipating guest needs. 
• Resolve customer issues, complaints and problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service. 
• Ensure the safety of guests and staff by following procedures and reporting any suspicious activity. 
• Effectively communicate and liaise with all departments to ensure the servicing of guests. 

To be successful in this role you will have 

• Similar experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel. 
• Previous experience delivering training (desirable). 
• Previous knowledge of a Property Management System 
• Excellent verbal communication skills. 
• A passion for the hospitality industry.
• Impeccable grooming and presentation. 
• Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure. 
• Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
