We are looking to engage the services of an experienced Frontier Software Developer to work for our federal government client. Successful candidates must be Australian citizens currently residing in Australia, with a preference for having an active AGSVA security clearance (Baseline or NV1).

Here are some of the duties you will perform
- Dive into new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate ideas and demonstrate feasibility.
- Tackle complex technical challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, leveraging unconventional approaches when necessary.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and product managers to bring visionary concepts to life.
- Embrace a culture of experimentation and iteration, continuously refining and evolving solutions based on feedback and learnings.
- Document insights, findings, and best practices to share knowledge and ensure continuity in development efforts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or others.
- Familiarity with modern development practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Ability to think creatively and critically, with a passion for exploring new technologies and pushing the boundaries of innovation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems in dynamic environments.
- Experience with frontier technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, or others is a plus.
