What we’re looking for
The main responsibilities of this role are:
- Providing support to staff in the office as well as remote users.
- Maintaining and deploying laptops, providing software support, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues both in person and remotely.
- Supporting and troubleshooting issues for our office technology such as printers and Zoom meeting rooms.
- Working with a supportive team with on-going training and development opportunities to enhance your skill-base.
- 2+ years IT service desk and desktop support experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Active Directory and Google Workspace
- Network troubleshooting, LAN & WiFi
- Strong technical acumen, interpersonal and communication skills including both oral and written proficiency
- Exposure/familiarity with Linux, PHP, HTML, ASP is preferred but not essential
- Experience supporting Apple devices in an enterprise environment is preferred but not essential
- Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Ubiquiti systems, VMware/vCenter is preferred but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passion for learning new skills and technologies
- Strong analytical, prioritisation, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Ability to interact effectively within and across teams
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-moving culture
