Your Assignment |
You will have shared responsibility in supporting the Fruit and Veg Prep team in providing consistent, high quality, fresh produce items for our customers. This will involve working in a cold environment.
- Assisting the day to day operations within a department setting, ensuring an efficient workflow is maintained
- Possess a positive, friendly and professional attitude toward our team and customers
- Keep a clean and organised workspace whilst adhering to our OHS and Food Safety guidelines
- You must be able to distinguish the quality of the product before packaging and report any non conformities to management
- Complete required tasks in a timely and efficient manner and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Ensure the work area that you are assigned to meets OHS requirements at all times and report any hazards
- Assist the Department Manager with stock management, including but not limited to stock packaging, rotation, stocktaking, and inventory.
- Ensure all aspects of the department are thoroughly cleaned before and after food preparation
- To ensure that all food is labelled, weighted and dated correctly with stock rotated accordingly
- Assembling and preparing ingredients, including knife skills, food packaging equipment and labeling
- Have great problem solving skills and be able think outside the box
- Be with us on the journey by sharing your ideas, listening to others and assisting the brand to grow to the best food emporium in Australia

- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous for success
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays and seasonal periods
- Demonstrates integrity, honesty, teamwork and genuine concern for others
- Work effectively with other departments to ensure our customers have access to the best of the best and keep coming back for more
- Must be able to prioritise your day-to-day work, show initiative and enthusiasm
