The Club provides catering services to members and guests through the bistro. Open Tuesday Lunch only. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday - Breakfast and Lunch. Thursday, Friday breakfast, lunch and dinner. The club also conduct functions and special events. Recently purchased Yoder 1500S Smoker - to have theme nights of Texas slow cooks. The successful applicant will be dedicated to achieving consistent levels of food quality and presentation. The successful applicant will help bring in the New Creations being implemented by the new team. A new beginning.
The Vines Golf Club wants you, to be a person that takes pride in your level of service and presentation manages the kitchen efficiently during busy service periods and has excellent communication with management and front-of-house staff. Delivering ideas for menus, operational improvement and working in partnership with the Executive Chef.
Full TimeSous Chef will be responsible for:
- Delivering consistent, creative and high-quality offerings
- Evaluating, creating, documenting and executing standard operating procedures
- Promoting positive work relationships with other departments.
- Management of food safety/HACCP standards and OHS regulations.
- Controlling and managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
To be successful in this important leadership role you will need:
- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery and a minimum of two years of previous experience in a leadership role.
- The ability to work under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills
- A proven track record leading culinary operations successfully
- Strong management skills with strengths in inspirational leadership, financial performance and people skills
- Good written and oral communications skills
