Spot On Ring Rolling in Braeside is seeking full time & part time Welder/Fabricator to join our team. Our company are flange & ring rolling specialists, providing standard and customized steel rings & flanges.
We are a family run business with 30plus years in the industry. Our staff, many of which have worked with us for 10+ years are a close knit team.
Candidates must have the following to apply:
- Knowledge & working experience as a welder, or Welder/Fabricator with TIG & MIG (min 1-2 years experience preferred, but not essential)
- Be comfortable with Aluminum, Stainless Steel & Mild Steel
- Have ability to read & interpret technical drawings and other written instructions/diagrams to perform the job tasks.
- Good attention to detail
- Read & Speak English proficiently
- Live locally with the right to work in Australia
- Be able to handle physical workload including lifting & manipulating large metal objects
- Must be fit, reliable and willing to work as part of a team
Job Tasks & Responsibilities
- Perform TIG, MIG and other types of welding based on the task requirements
- Marking, scribing, punching
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Cleaning & tidying work area
- Assist other factory worker’s roles at times, such as the rolling team, despatch & warehouse.
Roles available
Full time Mon-Thu 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-2:30pm (get your weekend started earlier!)
Part time 3 or 4 days (8am-4:30pm) with nominated days negotiable
Salary is negotiable, with experience and qualifications - get a secure income on a salary package. Our rates are PLUS Super, Holiday & Sick Leave Entitlements
