The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 1+ years previous experience dental assisting/reception required
- A willingness and flexibility to work past 5PM and some Sat AM only
- A passion for the dental industry and patient care
- Possess high empathy and a patient centric approach
- An energetic approach and a willingness to learn
- Have proficient typing and computer skills
- A flexible approach and a positive attitude to fit in with the team
- A warm friendly personality and build relationships easily

About the role
- Greeting patients in a professional and pleasant manner
- Answering phone in a professional and helpful manner
- Implement clinical and admin protocols
- Accurate processing, follow-up and manage patient records
- Accurate appointment book scheduling
- Confirming appointments by following protocol
- Processing payments accurately (Hicaps, eftpos, Medicare CDBS)
- Occasional chairside assistance and steri support
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1+ years reception experience within a dental practice
- Demonstrate excellent time management and outstanding work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail, self-accountability, and self-management
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
