Due to the relocation of our current Practice Nurse to pursue her master degree, Grimshaw St Medical Clinic is looking for a motivated and experienced General Practice Registered Nurse.

- Payrate ($35 to $42) will be determined based on skills and experience, negotiable.
Hours: 38hrs weekly, 5 weekdays (negotiable)

Grimshaw St Medical Clinic is a mixed billing clinic, GP-owned, and well-established 45 Year Old General Practice. We take pride in offering the highest standards of medical care to every patient. We are located in Bundoora, a busy suburb, just minutes from CBD
Essential selection criteria:
Requirements
Expected to participate in all aspects of GP Nursing and be a team player. The ideal candidate would be competent in performing
- Childhood Immunization, Immunisations catch up and travel vaccination
- Wound care, ear syringing
- ECG
- Ordering and Stocktake of consumables
- Assisting minor procedures
- Cold chain management
- Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management Plans including GPMP and TCA
- Good computer skills, experience in Best Practice software is an advantage
- Liaises with receptions and Doctors
- Familiar with RACGP 5th Standards for General Practice
- Applicants must be a Registered Nurse, registered with AHPRA, Permanent Resident of Australia;
- 1 to 2 Years of experience in a general practice environment is preferred.
- Pre-employment medical assessments
- Assisting with recall and reminder systems (experience with HotDoc is an advantage)
Desirable selection criteria:
Time management skills, good team player with great patient-centered skills and has the ability to work independently.
Benefits
6 doctor practice, Allied health offerings, Weekday work, 30 to 38 hrs a week between 8am and 6pm weekdays according to the agreed roster.
