UnitingCare Queensland is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst SAP to join our Finance Systems & Innovations team.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the ongoing effective and efficient Functional Systems support for core financial systems. You will provide recommendations on sustainable system solutions as well as train and mentor others in the Finance team to uplift skills and capability.
Please note, this is a 12-month maternity leave contract - full time hours and hybrid working options
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Provide system support required to complete financial accounts, statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliations
- Update complex pricing contracts for private Health fund agreements
- Review and recommend impacts on integrated payment and claiming systems across the Health portfolio
- Develop business solutions and designs for BFS accounting processes including GL, AR, AR, Assets, Projects and reporting
- Investigation of complex business and functionality issues
- Work with functional experts/BU subject matter experts to validate and verify data and processes.
- Provide advice and support in Data Analysis and Analytics principles and practices
- Participate in Data Governance framework
- Perform data mapping activities between Financial, CRM, HR and other enterprise systems
- Design security model and grant user access within the ERP systems
- Support Month end close processing across GL, AR, AR, Assets, Projects and reporting
- Researching functional impact of patches/releases/ upgrades/maintenance packs to assess impact on current system and processes
- Define technical development required within SAP or other core financials systems
- Define UAT test cases for financial processes
- Researching and identifying innovative business process end to end solutions
- Analyse and resolve financial operational issue with SAP
- Providing SME functionality insights into the design of new reporting and process requirements also advice on interface design and maintenance
What makes a difference for us?
- Tertiary qualification in information technology or financial software applications
- CA/CPA would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Basware System would be advantageous
- Experience in a Functional Analyst\Systems Accounting role in a large organisation working on the SAP EEC 6 platform
- Knowledge of SAP EEC 6 platform (AP, AR, Assets, GL, Projects, inventory modules)
- Experience supporting Financial systems across all modules
