Cement Australia has an exciting opportunity now available in our Darra head office for a SAP Functional Analyst - FICO.
The primary role exists to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of corporate business processes at Cement Australia. Working closely with internal customers and vendors to deliver business process automation benefits across various finance related functions and reporting improvements using SAP, Business Intelligence and other applications to simplify corporate function.
About the role:
In this role you will:
- Provide quality customer support to the business via Incident/Service/Change Requests that are executed in accordance with iServices corporate procedures.
- Lead and deliver agreed IT projects that are aligned with the business priorities and value of return by identifying, defining and planning, ensuring it’s within budget and agreed timeframes whilst managing the implementation of all change activities.
- SAP configuration primarily but not limited to the FI/CO areas in accordance with the established change control processes.
- Work closely with business analysts across other functional areas and SAP modules; PM, PP, MM, IM, SD to deliver end-to-end business improvement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, supplier agreements and Cement Australia policies and procedures.
- Identify and deliver business efficiency and automation improvements in line with industry current best practice technologies with a view to emerging technology innovations.
- Engage with the business to ascertain their reporting and development needs and deliver appropriate solutions to meet their requirements within agreed timelines and priority rating.
- Continuous development of corporate reporting including modelling and data integration requirements across SAP ECC, BW, Business Objects and other applications whilst providing support and assistance to the Data Warehouse Administrator and A&M Reporting Analyst.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget to the satisfaction of the customer/client.
- Maintain documentation applicable to the A&M process area including, training materials, functional and technical designs.
- Development of colleagues and customers in A&M processes via workshops, coaching and training sessions.
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Information Technology or Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years SAP ERP Finance and Controlling Configuration experience - mandatory
- SAP Financials Certified - preferable
- ITIL certification - desirable
- Experience in direct involvement in SAP ERP Finance and Controlling preferably in the manufacturing / mining / construction industry (mandatory)
- Several SAP implementations leading the Finance area configuration (mandatory)
- Previous experience in delivering system/process improvements to drive business efficiencies and cost savings
- Minimum of 3 years of SAP BW and Business Objects experience
- Experience working across SAP modules, PM, PP, MM, IM, SD (highly desirable)
- Understanding of financial data flows from non-SAP systems such as Banking, Credit applications, Credit Card portals (desirable)
- Experience in Project Management (desirable)
